The short version: beaumontrotary.com is a small, all-volunteer community site. We don’t run accounts, contact forms, ad networks, or trackers. We collect almost nothing — and we keep it that way on purpose.
Who we are
This site is operated by the Beaumont-Cherry Valley Rotary Club, an unincorporated chartered club of Rotary International (District 5330), serving Beaumont and Cherry Valley, California. Charitable fundraising is conducted through the Rotary Club of Beaumont Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 33-0779776).
What we collect
The website itself does not ask for, store, or transmit any personal information. There is no contact form, no email signup, no member portal, and no account system. When you send us a note, you do so by clicking a mailto: or tel: link that opens your own email client or phone — we receive only what you choose to send.
Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) automatically receives standard request data — IP address, browser user-agent, referrer, and the URL you requested — in order to deliver the page. Cloudflare uses this for routing, abuse prevention, and aggregate traffic reporting. We do not have access to a user-level log of that data.
Cookies and analytics
We do not set cookies, run JavaScript analytics, or use third-party advertising or remarketing pixels. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, and no cross-site tracker on this domain.
Embedded and third-party content
A few pages include content hosted by other companies. Loading these elements means those companies can see the same kind of request data described above:
- Google Maps — embedded on the contact section to show our meeting location.
- Google Fonts — the “Open Sans” typeface is requested from fonts.googleapis.com when a page loads.
- YouTube / Vimeo — if a newsletter or page embeds a video player, the host platform sees the request.
- External links — outbound links to Facebook, Instagram, our member database at dacdb.com, Rotary International, and similar sites are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies.
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the privacy practices of these third parties.
Children
This site is intended for a general audience, including adults interested in joining the club and families looking up community events. Our Interact Club page describes a youth service program; participation in Interact is coordinated through Beaumont High School and does not involve any data collection on this website.
Photographs and member information
Our gallery and newsletter sections include photographs from club events and the names of members and community partners who appear in them. These are published with the understanding that Rotary activities are public-facing community service. If you appear in a photo on this site and would like it removed, please contact us — we’ll take it down promptly.
Your rights
Because we don’t maintain a database of visitor information, there is no personal data of yours for us to access, correct, export, or delete. If you have written to us by email, you can ask us at any time to remove or correct the contact information we have on file.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time — for example, if we add a contact form, an email newsletter signup, or analytics. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the latest revision.
