Club signature

Use this on anything that carries the club’s name. It’s Rotary’s official signature for our club — the Rotary wordmark, the wheel, and “Beaumont-Cherry Valley” locked together. Setting “Rotary” as plain type next to the club name is a stand-in; reach for this instead.

Which file do I need?

FormatUse it for
PDFPrint — flyers, banners, signs, postcards. Vector, so it scales to any size. This is the master; send it to printers and designers.
SVGWebsites, Canva, Figma and anything else that takes vector artwork on screen.
PNGWord, Google Docs, PowerPoint, email and social posts — anywhere vector won’t import. Transparent background, 600 dpi.

Rotary Club of Beaumont Foundation

The Foundation is the club’s 501(c)(3) (EIN 33-0779776) and a separate legal entity. Use its signature only when the Foundation is the named party — donation receipts, grant applications, scholarship paperwork, tax-deductible giving appeals. For everything else, use the club signature above.

Rotary, The Rotary Club of Beaumont Foundation signature, reversed for dark backgrounds

Reversed

For Royal Blue, dark panels and photos. White type; the wheel stays Gold.

Printing large? The Foundation signature is only available as a PNG, which holds up to about 4.5 inches wide at print quality. For a banner or sign, ask the webmaster rather than stretching the PNG.

Usage rules

Rotary International sets these for every club logo. They’re short, and they’re what keeps the wheel looking like the wheel.

Clear space: keep an empty margin around the signature equal to the height of the capital “R” in “Rotary.”
  • Use the files as supplied. Scale them proportionally; nothing else.
  • Keep it at least 1 inch (72 pt) wide. Smaller than that and “Beaumont-Cherry Valley” stops being readable.
  • Pick the version for the background. Full color on light, reversed on dark or busy photos.
  • Don’t flatten it to one color. Turning the whole signature white fills in the wheel’s spokes and gear teeth. Use the reversed file — it keeps the wheel Gold.
  • Don’t retype the club name. It’s set in Neue Frutiger World Light, a licensed typeface, and is already outlined in these files. Open Sans or Arial look visibly wrong.
  • Don’t stretch, rotate, recolor, outline or add effects — and don’t add other words above or below it.
  • Don’t put “Rotary” in an event or project name on its own. Use the club name: “Beaumont-Cherry Valley Rotary Chili Cook-Off,” not “Rotary Chili Cook-Off.”

Brand fonts

Rotary’s typefaces are Frutiger for headlines and Sentinel for body text. Both are licensed fonts most of us don’t have, so Rotary names free stand-ins — and those are what this website uses.
